Destaca-se em sua trajetória a participação em importantes eventos internacionais, como, em 2007, o 7ª Festival Internazionale dei Cori em Clusone, Província de Bergamo, na Lombardia, na Itália, com apresentações na Chiesa Parrocchiale de Rovetta e no Chiostro dell'Abbazia de Pontida e o XV Festival Internacional de Corais de Criciúma em Santa Catarina. Em 2008 participou do 1º Encuentro Coral del Mercosur “Purahei Joja” (Cantar Unidos), com apresentações na Argentina, Paraguai e Brasil e do VIII Canta Brasil, em São Lourenço. Em 2012 se apresentou no XIV Festival Internacional de Coros, no Peru. The choristers looked at the formation of the choir as further development to their shared roots from singing with the Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir. They also looked to continue the tradition of successful male chamber choirs founded by former members of Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir, which is unique in Germany. The ensemble has committed itself to presenting the audience with unfamiliar male choir works of the highest level, but without neglecting the traditional canon of compositions, which makes for a exceptional combination. The repertoire includes a range of the following: Gregorian chants, works of old masters, romantic motets, contemporary compositions, arrangements of jazz and pop songs. Along side intensive voice training, drama instruction, theory and ...  moreThe Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir is celebrating its seventeenth season, providing audiences at home and away with the gift of song from the hearts of 135 boys between the ages of 7 and 20. Along side intensive voice training, drama instruction, theory and sight reading in several smaller ensembles for several age categories, the choir produces 6 sold out concerts per year. Their most recent ambitions include producing a Symphony and Singing in the City concert with professional orchestral musicians mentoring local professional and semiprofessional performers from Grande Prairie. The Senior and Men of Note Choirs have travelled Nationally to BC, and ON and internationally to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2014, they entered and won second place in the Canadian National Music Festival and in 2016 were chosen out of 45 choirs to perform at the National Choral Conference in Edmonton where they premiered a choral piece Magnificat Anima Mea to huge acceptance.
