Since then, the ACS has established itself as a formidable presence in the Philippine musical landscape. Their unique specialization in sacred Choral music has opened a richly eclectic mix of European, American and Asian Choral literature that spans medieval to postmodern periods, traditional to contemporary styles, complex art music to highly-textured indigenous music, and moving sprituals to psalmody hewn out of traditional Asian musics. He decided to call this one-man choir the dwsChorale. The range is bottom bass D to top alto e. Most recordings were done between 2005 and 2009. Only time will tell whether the dwsChorale will be revived, but David keeps composing anyway, so who knows....

Our repertoire is all original, written by choir members and has emerged as a new tribal Choral tradition that honors death as a natural, expected, sometimes very inspiring event in a life. While we don't require auditions, our welcome process is rigorous. This kind of singing is spiritual work and is deeply rewarding for those who are called to it.
