It was born thanks to its director, Ludovico (Dodo) Versino, who instilled the love for choral music in high school students all across Rome, which led them all to become friends. It doesn’t have an exact date of birth, because it began as a way to get together, rather than as a formal choir. They don’t have a uniform, a fixed meeting place, or a specific repertoire genre. It is made up of James Rose (Founder), Sam Robson, Emily Dankworth, Ben Cox, Martynas Vilpisauskas and Lewis Daniel, all young and talented musicians from the Guildhall School of Music. Performing live on stage around London with guest singers such as Jacqui Dankworth, VIVE brings rich, diverse harmonies with a fresh, contemporary sound, taking inspiration from the legendary Take 6 and the Real Group! Their music is mainly original arrangements and compositions and what's more, the focal point is not just pop, fusion, harmony, Jazz, spirituals... but a complete synthesis of all of these. They will be performing a set of originals and covers, including original compositions 'Voices', and 'Ezekiel Saw De Wheel' - the latter proclaimed "Genius" by Mervyn Warren! One of the biggest private and social choral projects in Madrid, Spain. Founded by Coral Santiago Apostol, a well-known mixed choir, which has extended its scope to children and young people, creating Coro Ilusiones (children) and Coro Encanto (youth).
