It is made up of local people from Stirling and the surrounding areas, aged 15yrs old to 65yrs old, from students to nurses to teachers...and their repertoire includes songs by surprising bands and singers such as The Kings of Leon and Primal Scream. After only 2 months together, The Heart of Scotland choir were delighted to be given the opportunity to sing at Stirling Castle’s 2010 Hogmanay Celebrations which then led to a spot on Ewen Cameron’s Real Radio Breakfast Show in the same week! 2011 has proved to be a phenomenal year for the HOS choir. They have performed at numerous charity events across the central belt of Scotland, sold out their first concert at Stirling's Albert Halls, and appeared on John Barrowman's BBC1 show Tonight's The Night....they are now working towards their next Albert Halls concert in December 2011 and making plans to record Second Summer along with...    less

We were originally founded as a workplace choir for K Shoes (taken over by Clarks) of Kendal, Cumbria in 1969. We have around fifty members and support local and national charities. We are a very friendly choir and welcome new members.

It is a choir ensemble of about 25 people, mainly amateurs. They share an incredible passion for music and are keen on spreading their positive singing energy. The choir is known for its modern choral music repertoire, consisting of songs from all over the world as well as pop music masterpieces. The group was awarded a silver medal in pop music category during 5th 'Music Everywhere Festival' in Gdansk in 2019. So far, the choir has performed in several places in Poland, often the non-obvious ones, trying to make choral music available to everyone. The choir’s conductor, Zuzanna popiołkiewicz, graduated from Conducting faculty at the Academy of Music in Gdansk. In 2012, as a representative of Poland, she led music workshops for the American organization 'Singers of United Lands' in 23 US states, Canada, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Our name reflects our roots in the telephony and technology sectors as we originally formed as a workplace choir in BT’s Edinburgh offices. We’ve since grown and attracted members from outside of our workplace. Led by Aly Skidmore, our vision from the outset was to build a dynamic performance choir for amateur singers. Under Aly’s musical direction, the choir has developed rapidly and grown significantly in both quality and reputation, receiving wide acclaim. The RingTones have been booked for a wide mix of charity, showcase and corporate events such as the Scottish Rugby Union’s Annual Awards 2015, Eden Festival 2015, the BT Scotland Annual General Meeting, the Scottish Parliament, Sports Relief, the Great Scot Awards 2014.
