Away in a manger (words anon, set to a traditional Normandy tune arranged by Reginald Jacques) These carols were recorded on Sunday 13th December 2009 during the first of St Peter's Singers' two now-traditional annual performances to guests at the Espresso Bar of Harvey Nichols' Leeds store in the Victoria Quarter. The Choir is directed on this occasion by its regular accompanist David Houlder, Sub-Organist of Leeds Parish Church. The Music Director of St Peter's Singers is Dr Simon Lindley, Organist of Leeds Parish Church and Leeds City Organist, who has held this post since the Choir's formation in 1977. Madziawit .. an evening with The Philippine Madrigal Singers. This was held last May 2009 at the San Bartolome de Novaliches Parish. Final song entitled Go the Distance performed by Bartholomean Chamber Singers and The Philippine Madrigal Singers.

The members of the Choir are professional musicians. Until now, the Choir took part in the projects of the National Theater and The Opera House of Bitola (Heraclea and Likini and Fiddler on the roof); Choir seminar in Solun (Greece);many whole concerts and participation in humanitarian conserts. On our programme are represented all type of Choir music, accapela and music with instruments.

The Choir has a high calibre of singers drawn by its demanding musical standard and the opportunity to explore recently created music. Among the group's twenty-four members are piano and voice teachers, soloists, Choir directors, organists and others with musical training. The ensemble has previously reached the quarter- and semi-finals of the CBC Radio Competition for Amateur Choirs. In May 2010, they were awarded second place in the Chamber Choir category of the National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs. They have performed twice at Podium, Canada's national choral conference, most recently in May 2014 in Halifax.  less
