"Almas de Barro" Music and lyrics by Santiago Veros. Foreward: Santiago Veros wrote Almas de Barro at the age of 19, dedicating it to a young woman who at the time was shy and with whom he rarely talked. This piece intimately describes the moments during music theory classes when the two would look at each other continuously, youthfully, and silently, as if unable to do anything else. The piece, written as a counterpoint assignment, was intended to be performed during music theory class as a declaration of love. The idea was to make a musical representation of those moments. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our D...  moreBased in south-west London, All Saints Fulham Choir are a friendly, talented and experienced group of young volunteer singers in our 20s and 30s. In addition we have a choral scholarship programme for music students. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our Director of Music and Assistant Organist, Emma Howarth. We sing 3 out of 4 Sundays at All Saints Church Fulham at both the 9:30am Sung Eucharist and 6pm Choral Evensong. We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays at 8pm. We always welcome new members. In an effort to stay committed to singing and performing at the Highest possible level, we compete each year in a national contest and we also perform our own annual Show to raise our profile in the community.
