Что ты бредёшь по равнинной трясине? Или молитву несешь по России? Или, отчаявшись, хрипло кричишь? Вот окружил меня белой стеною. Был бы я рад подойти к аналою — свечку затеплить, молитву сложить. Пусто. Лишь слёзы на веках густели то ли от вздохов прощальной метели, то ли от счастья, что надобно жить. Русское поле, давно мог понять я: жизнь — испытание, но — не распятье.
