Vermeer / Wisława Szymborska
As long as that woman from the Rijksmuseum
in painted silence and concentration

The group named DEKOR Chamber Choir is composed of experienced choral singers from various parts of Slovenia, who in the past used to sing in renowned Slovene and some foreign vocal ensembles. Driven by the desire of thorough preparation of quality choral projects, the choir works under the leadership of Slovene and foreign guest conductors.
The choir prepared their inaugural concert, entitled In the Beginning, in cooperation with young Finnish conductor Dani Juris The topic of creation coincided not only with the central composition of the concert, Copland’s In the Beginning, but also with the choir’s first public appearance and presentation of the concept of their work. We have a simple philosophy, we all love to sing but we want to do it in a professional way without the rigid formality and structure of traditional male voice choirs.
We love to sing and perform a wide range of musical styles from pop and rock to classical standards. If it is good music we will sing it.
We are looking for new singers to join our friendly new choir, both experienced and beginners. Come along, experience something new and get excited!
