Also winning ...  moreIn The World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became The 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got The 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' The champions competed in, The choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals. It is well known a...  moreGOSPEL SINGERS WANTED, Audition 5th & 6th July 2021 – Black History Month Background Union Chapel is a historic church based in Islington with a small but enthusiastic congregation looking to expand our horizons. It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities. In recent years, The church has been developing music in our Sunday services with a range of genres, classical, Jazz, gospel, and world music. The church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. These have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in The Covid pandemic. Besides The usual church festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and oTher special commemorations. The poem has a clear structure (verse – chorus), and The Vocal parts are kept straightforward. The striking piece contains some Jazzy chords and humorously unexpected twists. This work won The first prize in The 2013 Composition Competition of The European Choral Association in The frame of The festival Youth Choirs in Movement.

Domingo de Silos, Mecerreyes Church and Collegiate Covarrubias (Burgos), The Iglesia de la Santa Cruz of Carballiño (Orense), The Iglesia de Sta. María of Requena (Valencia), Ntra. The women of Mabe Ladies Choir take Their music making very seriously, constantly striving to achieve The highest artistic and technical Standards.
