Through dedication and hard-work SOC has carved for itself a niche and identity of not many but sings like a thousand voices to its audience and the Choral hub in Ghana. Rev. Mr & Mrs Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Apostle General and his wife the Premier Lady of Royalhouse Chapel International, serves as the Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the choir. The choir has two (2) album to its credit namely Kashe Gbeye (Danceable tunes) & Afe Ato Hen (A Christmas Danceable tunes) and several live performances ranging from hymns, anthems, classical etc to its credit. We sing popular Songs in at least three part harmony and add performance techniques to bring them to life. A weekly hour and a half rehearsal begins with a singing lesson and warm up that provides members with the vocal skills and techniques they need to sing amazing Songs from the world of pop, rock and musical theatre including Songs from Adele, Take That, Erasure and many more favourite artists. The lessons are led by our experienced choir leaders who are professional performers themselves and who are skilled at teaching singing and performance. Anyone can join! Its repertoire includes choral music from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, works by contemporary Greek composers, traditional Songs, spirituals, etc. It has given numerous concerts in Greece, Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Norway, Switzerland, Hungary, Cyprus, Turkey, and Serbia. Since 2023, the choir has been organizing annually the “Arta Sacred Music Festival” which takes places in Byzantine churches of Arta.
