The Ensemble performs in some of the most important Music festivals in Israel, and has won first prize and a gold medal in the International Liturgic Music Competition for Choirs 1996, sponsored by the Vatican. On 2001 Jerusalem A-Cappella Singers performed a world premier in Jerusalem and Italy of a Mass in Arabic by father Armando Pieruchi and in 2009 they were invited to take part in a special project for Christmas which was produced and filmed in Jerusalem by the BBC and forecasted later in England. The University Choir is the premier auditioned ensemble of Colorado Christian University. The ensemble focuses on a cappella sacred repertoire but also performs world Music. The University Choir is a regular performer at conferences and tours annually.

It was officially inaugurated in September 2011 and was widely attended by thousands of choral Music lovers across the country. The group has performed at numerous high profile functions like the international leadership awards night (tuzoya oungozi), national peace makers rally at the national theater among others. The group also embarked on a nationwide peace campaign tour which was dubbed "11.11.12 - Sing Ghana 4 peace". The Choir is noted for Music evangelism and charity projects in Ghana.
