We are brothers of the same species and maybe we do not realize but our differences- ideological, behavioral, religious, gender, etc. - In truth are skills to complement us and if we unite them, we will have access to all the knowledge of all the truths existing in humanity. We must be tolerant and learn from one another because we are in the same boat traveling together and to live a wonderful life, we must listen to each other and unite to awaken our kindness and create synergistic relationships. This is not typical of my usual style, but it's an interesting excursion into the evangelical music of mid-70s Oxford, where I was studying.  

Every phrase feels like a heart standing before God and acknowledging that grace has been real, present, and faithful. It is thanksgiving as testimony, worship as memory, joy born from reflection.

It is based on a Czech Furiant (a fast dance with metre shifting between duple and triple time) called "Sedlák, sedlák", which was also sung as a light-hearted and frolicsome song gently poking fun at a corpulent farmer. The words of the carol are by Malcolm Sargent himself. Girls and boys, leave your toys. make no noise, Kneel at His crib and worship Him.
