The group is one of Madagascar’s top Choirs and aims for musical excellence and artistic innovation. Various performances have been given since its debut in major places around the country. ICanto’s repertoire is eighty percent a capella and the Choir interpretes all genres of Classical Music, from ancient to modern as well as rearranged traditional Malagasy music. It's of course a wink to my favorite musical movie - I must have watched it at least a dozen times. It keeps inspiring my love for singing. We mostly sing musical songs, but not exclusively. We are dedicated to making this a great amateur Choir. But, as Mary Poppins sang: 'In every job that must be done / there is an element of fun / You find the fun / and SNAP the job's a game'
