Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. Pax Romana choir, UENR is the church choir of the Cardinal Newman Catholic Church of University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani. It is made up of mostly Catholic students and a few of Non-Catholic students of the university.

We are a group of young people who have come together to showcase the beauty of Music.

Doug Mears is the Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with the professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full time accompanists and music educators meet the rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional chorus. FCS is honored to work with renown musicians, conductors and orchestras to present the finest choral programs available. Sometimes we join other choruses to produce even larger musical works. The choral offerings of the Fairfax Choral Society are diverse though always presented after concerted rehearsal and production.
