Salvacosta was formed in June 2000 and functioned for 16 years raising over £55,000 for various charities. In 2017 a new smaller Ensemble evolved from Salvacosta in the form of Muzaria www.muzaria.com focusing on Stage & Screen music.

The focus of our music is located in the Baltic region. Of course! Our cherished and beloved conductor Arūnas Pečiulis is from Lithuania. In 2016 we released our first own CD "Christmas in Orange" with traditional and extraordinary Christmas songs from all over the world. We are also represented with a total of three pieces on the CDs „Salzburg singt 2 - Advent" and „Salzburg singt 3 - Adventkalender" of the Salzburg Choir Association. In 2017 we made our first big trip abroad to Lithuania and Latvia, in 2018 we were one of only two „non-Lithuanian“ Choirs to take part in the Lithuanian song festival „Dainų šventė“ in Vilnius. Program Note: It is difficult to follow with (yet) another setting of this famous text that has inspired so many composers over the centuries. In my attempt, “O magnum mysterium” returns three times after the first statement, in a similar gesture but each time shifted to a new tonality with even more flats. Thus, the listener gets ever more pulled into this magnificient text until the piece culminates in a jubilant “Alleluia” in C-major, having come full-circle back to very first harmony we heard.
