To us, Music is a universal language which needs no translation and crosses every boundary. We sincerely hope that our Music may touch the heart of every person who hears us sing!  

We are made up of 3 different choirs - Mixed Chorus, Treble choir, and Concert choir. All of our members are students at Port Huron Northern High School and range from 13-18 years of age. We all share a love of Music and create joy through singing together.

Over the past 12 years, we have trained five generations of young performers from across the School as part of our extra-curricular Music programme. Specialising in acappella African vocals, our performances are enhanced with dynamic percussion and traditional dance. Many arrangements are created by the group's Musical Director, Mr Steve Cook, and by the students themselves. Our repertoire includes a range of traditional and contemporary African songs in a variety of languages. Over the years, this outstanding group has developed a reputation for thrilling, breathtaking and energetic performances at School concerts and further afield. The University School Glee Club is one of the School's oldest organizations dedicated to high quality choral singing and superior Musical education for its members. The group performs several concerts each year and has toured throughout North America and Europe.
