Choir members have included opera singers, circus stage managers and women whose boldest performances have been behind a shower curtain. The choir’s musical director, Elaine Chan, is an acclaimed composer and a musical theatre icon in Singapore. She has played a prominent role in guiding the choir in singing its eclectic repertoire of pop, Broadway numbers, classical choral, and even African chants and gypsy wedding songs. nůmama has its beginnings as a mother and baby group in 2009, and has since grown into a choir for all women. Our mission is to be an inexpensive musical support group focusing on the needs of the women.
