Members of the Southwest Children’s Chorus range in age from 7 to 14. The Chorus is a musical performance and education program for children and youth, emphasizing the development of musical skills and understanding. The mission of the organization is to provide quality music instruction with the goal of attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music performance. Through its music activities, the CHOIR helps to foster the personal and social growth of its members and promotes their sense of self-esteem, accomplishment and pride. The Tour CHOIR has performed across the world in over 35 states in addition to Austria, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Switzerland. In addition, the CHOIR has performed in every major venue in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and across the state of Texas.  less

Since then we have recorded with everyone from CHER to Pink and have appeared in commercials, movies and television shows (including Modern Family, ‘I Think You Should Leave’, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, The Tonight Show, Jennifer Hudson, etc.). We sang on the #1 song of the year for 2012 (We Are Young by Fun) which has been seen on YouTube over 1 Billion times. Last year we were asked to sing with Eurovision runner up Eden Golan on her song ‘Older” dealing with a child’s view of war.  less

Open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13, the CHOIR rehearses on Tuesdays between 5.15 and 6.30 at St Peter's Church, Fulham. Children learn to sing together, about vocal development and musicianship, and most importantly have fun! The CHOIR will give regular performances in and around Fulham.
