the Forest City Fire a cappella chorus aims to sing interesting and challenging music with a high level of precision and expertise. It is our belief that a cappella singing can be enJoyed by people from all ages and all walks of life.

Led by Mrs. Joy Clayton, the Athens Drive High School Choirs perform a range of musical pieces varying from classical to folk to pop. Our favorite composer, and the one whose pieces we most love to perform, is Eric Whitacre.

Founded in 2003 by ex-choristers of Westminster Abbey, VOCES8 first achieved success in 2005, winning first prize at the International Choral Grand Prix in Gorizia, Italy.
