We sing in the a cappella style from a diverse repertoire of easily accessible music. We provide learning tracks for all our songs so you don’t need to able to read music to sing with Voice Weavers. Voice Weavers has open rehearsals on Thursday nights from 6:30pm QLD time at Tweed Heads Civic and Cultural Centre, cnr Wharf and Brett Sts Tweed Heads. When founding member Rick Rosen left California in mid-2003 to move back to Bucks County, the original group of west coast singers went on hiatus. In its second life, and with the blessings of the founding Californians, Cordus Mundi was reborn in early 2005 in Bucks County. Now with fifteen voices, the newest incarnation of Cordus Mundi has the flexibility and versatility to expand the group’s musical exploration into new areas - the repertoire is varied and eclectic, and the group includes two composers and several arrangers. Cordus Mundi draws its repertoire from a wide range of composers and styles, from Dunstable to Duruflé, from Byrd to Bernstein, from Palestrina to Paranjoti, from Brahms to the Beatles, and from Jacob Handl to Edie Hill. We perform at a variety of functions, often during church services. Our Easter-and Christmas programs are very popular. We also present a praise service ("Lofdiens") as church service. Our "soiree choralis" is another enjoyable event that we host. This is an ideal fundraiser for a church or other organisation.

This chorus has become one of the most appreciated male choruses in Croatia throughout its work, wide range of numerous performances, interesting programmes, valuable interpretations, distinctive sonority and compact quality of voices.  

This classic Motown tune was a hit at Chor Leoni's Bard Boyz performances (June 2011). The arrangement is by Keith Sinclair (who is also in the backup dance quartet) and the soloist is second tenor, Jordan Back.

This tradition caused another one: in the end of each choir's anniversary concert, all the former choristers being present among the audience come to the stage and sing these famous choruses together with the main part of the choir. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). Our repertoire ranges from the traditional to the contemporary, from sacred to 'songs from the shows', from Wagner to Rod Stewart. We maintain a good balance of concert and social activities. We practice every Tuesday night from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at Stithians Methodist Chapel. We have made a number of recordings including (with Stithians Ladies Choir) five well known Sankey Albums. Their sound combines rock, acapella, electronic, ambient and chant influences. Paradisum was created by Richard Childress, a Chicago-born professional singer, arranger and manager who brought together five talented and versatile young singers to record a few demo tracks. This attracted some attention from a veteran A & R professional, resulting in Paradisum being invited to perform in a private showcase in London before execs from Universal and Sony/BMG Records. The band is now in a new exciting collaboration with the brilliant tv and film composer Philip Sheppard. New covers and original sings will be out on Soundcloud and iTunes early in 2012.  less
