Phoenix have performed around the world, in the USA, Canada, Holland and Ireland as well as all over Britain in world renowned venues such as the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Sage in Gateshead.

In 2003, Matjaž Šček, the conductor of the group, was replaced by Andreja Martinjak, who performed regularly with the choir and took part in national and international choir competitions where the choir as well as the conductor were winning numerous prizes and awards. The greatest achievements of the choir include a gold plaque, awarded in the 20th Slovenian national choir competition, Naša pesem (Our song) 2007 and the second place in the 9th international choir competition in Maribor 2008, where the choir also won a special prize for the best Slovenian choir of the competition. In 2008 we celebrated the 80th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian composer Pavle Merkú with a special cycle of concerts. This was the Vocal Artists Bon Voyage concert prior to their Argentine tour and performance at the 9th International World Choral Symposium. "Stars" was commissioned by and dedicated to the Salt Lake Vocal Artists and Brady Allred. This piece calls for tuned glasses and specifically tuned Tibetan Singing bowls. During the choir’s existence, it has taken part in many musical festivals, and proven its quality by winning many first prizes, and has been joined in concert by world renowned soloists and choirs from Britain and America. Every year, the choir perform around twenty concerts throughout Cumbria, raising thousands of pounds for charitable organisations and other worthy causes. The services of the choir are provided entirely free of charge to the organisations they perform for. Outside the county they have performed in such notable venues as The Royal Albert Hall, London; on three occasions, Cardiff Arms Park; twice, Sheffield Arena and in Edinburgh.
