Members of the Choir are auditioned, multi-generational, and range in age from 17 to senior citizens. Performance music includes a wide variety of musical styles. Performances take place in local churches, theaters, etc. The Chorale programs two rehearsal and concert seasons each year. Artistic Director & Conductor Jan Lanterman and Associate Conductor Jason Nett conduct rehearsals and performances.

We are a mixed-voice Choir of around 30 singers, performing a wide variety of secular and sacred "classical"; choral music. We mainly sing a cappella, and tend to focus on lesser-known older works, and modern repertoire, often from living composers. However, this is by no means exclusive! The Choir sings three main concerts per year, with a charity carol concert just before Christmas. We are also a sociable bunch, with regular social events and a number of 'spin-off' groups.  less

ALERON, being an all-male ensemble, is geared towards exploring the male choral soundscape. Through innovative programming and the performance of repertoire across musical styles and genres, the group aims to deliver to its audiences a diverse and unique choral experience. Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. Due to an intensive and hard work, its members receive a full choral and scenic education, structured in the vocal individual technique and its different types of sound emission; on the development of corporal skills expression, and in the grupal practice of the choral exercise.
