We give you the pleasure of enjoying fine music and knowing you are a part of a musical community - a team that enriches the life of all of us. We currently have about 50 members. We feature a variety of music from popular to classical. Our selections are fun and challenging for singers and entertaining and rewarding for audiences. Open rehearsals for potential new members are held in September and January at the beginning of the rehearsal seasons. No formal auditions are held, but we do expect new members to be experienced in four part choral singing, and to have some ability to read along with sheet music. We are always concerned with maintaining a good balance of voices, and we cannot promise to accept all applicants. More information at: http://www.mishawumchoral.org/h...    less

The result will satisfy every single taste and linger on for a very long time. A feast for both eyes and ears, looking for peers. This displays the recipe forming the basis of an evening with the str8voices from Hanover. Immense a cappella- energy out of 8 young throats, interpreting songs such as “run run run” by the Real Group in a quite own and individual way. Apart from that, str8voices’ wide repertoire consists of own songs and arrangements. All eight singers were skilled in a classical way, educating themselves in Swing and Jazz by attending several workshops and masterclasses (with Kirby Shaw, Bob Stoloff...    less
