Although the choir originated and is based in Preston, Lancashire, members come from all over the North West. Individual choir members are involved in a wide range of local Community projects and often call upon the whole choir to help drive fundraising events across the region. One Voice Community Choir celebrates diversity and continually sources new material from its multi-cultural roots. The inspired leadership of Musical Director Tyndale Thomas MBE, combined with 14 years of performance experience has produced a stunning sound and versatile choral ensemble. Our mission as an ensemble is to connect with the Community and each other through the exploration of quality choral music, including the promotion of women composers, within an engaging, encouraging, and intergenerational environment focused on healthy vocal technique and artistic excellence. We encourage those with children to join us as we have a tandem youth choral program (Consonare Youth Choirs) that rehearses at the same time.  less
