World Champions (Scenic Folklore - WCG2012). The premier performance ensemble of Kearsney College, a leading independent High School for boys in South Africa. Winners of 10 Gold Medals (incl 3 World Champion Titles) at the World Choir Games 2000-2012. This is a group of kids who study in the School and as an extracurricular program for the children. We receive children from the 3rd till 6th grades. The choir is conducted by Fanny Kristianus Kalensang and till now is the one who is in charge of all OCC's activities.

In these few years, the young all-girls choir has grown from strength to strength. Since June 2009, under the direction of their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, the choir has garnered numerous accolades and awards to their name. In 2010 the choir won the Gold Award at the 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The choir was also Category Winner and was one of four choirs to be invited to compete in the grand finals. In 2011 the choir attained their first Silver award at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs. In the same year they came in 2nd at the National A Capella Championships. The choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as the Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and the Singapore Armed Forces Band. The mission of the DaCapo Chamber Choir is to identify, study, rehearse, and present in public performance and recordings, the outstanding choral Chamber works of the past 100 years and to champion music of Canadian and local composers. Our performance season consists of three annual concerts in Kitchener-Waterloo: once in the fall around Remembrance Day, a mid-winter, and a spring concert. In addition, the choir performs on an ad hoc basis at other events. We have worked with numerous choral groups, musicians, and composers since our inaugural season, including the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Elora Festival Singers, Kingston Cantabile Choirs, Guelph Chamber Choir, Penderecki Quartet, Lachan Chamber Choir, Willem Moolenbeek, Eric Friesen, Bruce Dow, and Eric Whitacre, to name just a few. Directe...  moreBlossom Street is a Highly versatile and vibrant Chamber choir comprising some of the UK’s best young Singers which performs regularly on TV and radio as well as on the concert platform, and has released two critically acclaimed CDs with Naxos. Directed by Hilary Campbell, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, the group was formed a decade ago, while the Singers were studying at the University of York, and relocated to London in 2007. In York, Blossom Street filmed a medley of Christmas carols for BBC2, which was broadcast during the snooker final in 2005, and since then has performed nationwide and beyond. They sang to Prince Charles on ITV1 as part of his 60th birthday celebrations, and gave their debut in Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the Voicelab series in 2009. The choir represented Singapore at the 2018 World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa, and brought home a gold and a silver medal in separate categories. In 2017, TGS emerged champion for the Chamber category in the 5th Vietnam International Choir Competition. Under the leadership of music director, Adyll Hardy, TGS has performed full-length concerts at the Esplanade Recital Studio, Victoria Concert Hall, SOTA Concert Hall and YST Conservatory Concert Hall. For its fifth anniversary, the choir launched its debut EP, now available on Spotify and iTunes.
