From The beginning our intention was to establish a dialog between ancient Vocal music from The Renaissance and Baroque periods and contemporary music from The 20th and 21st centuries. As The Vocal requirements of this aim are very important, we pay special attention to The musical and technical preparation of our programmes, in order to provide high quality performances. Our repertory includes ancient and contemporary music and works from composers such as Claudio Monteverdi, William Byrd, Heinrich Schütz, Tomás Luis de Victoria, Thomas Tallis, Vicente Goicoechea, Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, Vytautas Miskinis, Zoltán Kodaly, Samuel Barber, Benjamin Britten, Astor Piazzolla and Marcos Leite. In Hora Sexta has regularly taken part in The musical series of concerts organized by Madrid town council and oTher Spanish institutions since 2003. No extreme ranges. One page. Suitable for both church and concert hall. I wrote this with The aim of presenting The prayer with as much clarity as possible. To that end, I've set The text phrase by phrase raTher than as deconstructed fragments. The score may be downloaded and used for church or concert performances free of charge. We rehearse every Tuesday from 19:00 til 21:00 in The Atelier Marcel Hastir, rue du Commerce 51, 1000 Brussels. We usually do two concerts per year and like to socialize as well. Please feel free to join us and give it a try.
