We love what we do and we also love to use our singing to co... moreSouthend Vox is a dynamic and captivating not-for-profit modern choir that loves to entertain. The choir sings an eclectic mix of pop classics, show songs, spirituals and contemporary pieces.
We love what we do and we also love to use our singing to contribute to the community of Southend by performing regularly within the town and by raising money for local charities. We have represented Southend further afield with performances at Dublin's Guinness Storehouse and Union Chapel, London.

Destaca-se em sua trajetória a participação em importantes eventos internacionais, como, em 2007, o 7ª Festival Internazionale dei Cori em Clusone, Província de Bergamo, na Lombardia, na Itália, com apresentações na Chiesa Parrocchiale de Rovetta e no Chiostro dell'Abbazia de Pontida e o XV Festival Internacional de Corais de Criciúma em Santa Catarina. Em 2008 participou do 1º Encuentro Coral del Mercosur “Purahei Joja” (Cantar Unidos), com apresentações na Argentina, Paraguai e Brasil e do VIII Canta Brasil, em São Lourenço. Em 2012 se apresentou no XIV Festival Internacional de Coros, no Peru. Born by a group of singers, together with his conductor, Gianluigi Giacomoni, wanted to perform new kind of music in the city's musical scene with a wide repertoire ranging from the elaboration of popular melodies to hits of pop music and soundtracks. The choir Vox Canora sung with the Orchestra of the "Fondazione Arturo Toscanini", with M° Ennio Morricone for his concert in Parma, with M° Helmut Imig for the soundtrack of the film "Fratello Sole" by Luigi Mancinelli.
From 2008 choral ensemble Vox canora is directed by M° Monica Lodesani whose first engagement has been the preparation of the Gloria di Vivaldi, in collaboration with other choruses of the city.
