The rehearsals include popular songs, music from the shows, and many more styles, and will help with learning to read music as well as learning to sing in new and different languages. We gather members from all areas of Hertfordshire so whether you are in Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth, Welwyn, Ware etc you are welcome to come along. Subscription costs are set low at £2 per week which covers heating, rehearsal space and other fees. With styles ranging from pop to gospel, we're sure there's something to suit your taste. Come and join us on Tuesday evenings at the University of Chichester, where we rehearse. We aim to give two/three concerts a year – we hope you can be in the next one! We are a group of ladies with ages ranging from early 20s to 50s. We usually run around the school holidays as we have a few mums but can run in the holidays as well if enough people are available. We are resident at St. Matthew's parish church in Chapel Allerton. We rehearsal three times a month, on a Friday evening and sing four services a month, including Evensong on the first Sunday of every month. We also often host come and sing days and various workshops, our two most recent projects have been on Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri and Mozart's Requiem.
