The Choir is open to adults 18+ irrespective of age or ability. There’s no audition and no need to be able to read Music. The Choir is directed by Jenny Bennett, an experienced and inspirational Choir director.

As the premiere chorale ensemble at OSU, the OSU Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Steven Zielke, has garnered national attention and international awards. While touring Eastern Europe in 2001, the Choir received the Grand Prize at the Festival of Light in Bulgaria, and in April 2006, the Chamber Choir was selected as the only collegiate Mixed Choir from outside of the state of Utah to perform at the 60th Music Educators National Biennial Conference in Salt Lake City. The Choir has performed in many exciting venues, including a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Smetana Hall in Prague and at Strathov Monastery in Prague Castle, the first Choir allowed to perform in the monastery in decades. As a part of the historic community of Worcester Cathedral, the Choir has gained a reputation for Musical sensitivity and ground breaking performance. The Choir was founded in 1998 by its Musical director, Stephen Shellard, in order to draw together a group of high quality singers from the local area to develop a concert repertoire and further enrich the choral tradition of Worcester Cathedral.
