We are open to all singers with no auditions and previous experience of contemporary music is not needed. We work mainly, though not exclusively, from music, some of which is unconventionally notated. Most of our work is a capella and the focus is on ensemble singing. One objective is to expand the contemporary amateur vocal repertoire, which is less developed than the instrumental repertoire. We work with composers and students, commissioning works and showcasing material for use by others.  less

Last year after winning the St John’s group choral Rosebowl, this Choir won both the Provincial Music Festival and the National Music Festival of Canada. the Choir has been featured on local television and radio programs and even performed live in concert International Children performing icons- the Wiggles. the Wiggles Performance garnered national attention with news articles in all major outlets across the country. Palestrina, Bach, Victoria, Britten, Howells, RVW, Elgar, Poulenc etc, Need enthusiasm, music reading and some sight singing, or a good ear and quick learning. We dont audition, but invite you to try us and we to try you for a couple of sessions and see. Perform about 2 or 3 times a year.
