After singing together in various choirs, they came to realise that their voices blended effortlessly, creating an exclusive sound and experience. They have now, in an understated way, established themselves as a much sought after ensemble with followers all over the world. They’ve travelled extensively, performing at weddings, corporate events and concerts in venues as far afield as Rome, Los Angeles and Saudi Arabia, but they’re more than happy to perform closer to home ! The ensemble performed as an auditioned professional ensemble at the 2010 MN ACDA convention, and shortly after was invited to perform as a premier professional ensemble at the 2011 ICDA Summer Symposium. From Age to Age was highlighted as a "Regional Spotlight" group on Minnesota Public Radio in 2010 and will be featured on the classical Minnesota Public Radio Holiday CD "A Taste of the Holidays", vol. With a membership of 65-70 musicians from throughout the campus, this ensemble is quickly becoming recognized for its musical excellence. Recent concerts have included Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations and Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. Strong sight-reading skills and musicianship are important to membership. This ensemble is directed by Dr. Jonathan Babcock, associate director of choral activities.
