Composed as the theme song for the video game Civilization IV and featured on Tin's album Calling All Dawns, Baba Yetu was the first piece of Music composed for a video game to win a Grammy Award. Originally composed for full orchestra, choir and soloists, it was rearranged for SATB a capella choir by Tin in 2011. the text is a translation of the Lord's Prayer in Swahili.

the seeds of the choir were first planted back in mid-2012 when Maddy was asked to set up a choir to perform a small concert at her local church near to Stratford Upon Avon. the choir are all good friends and met in a variety of ways from other choirs, bands and performing arts groups.
Since their first concert, they have grown to become one of the best and most revered choirs in the Midlands and have performed at countless venues from the Birmingham German Christmas Markets to Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations in Stratford Upon Avon to their very first concert in Warwick in June 2013.
