The Vocal Artists were grateful to be able to acknowledge the composer in attendance at this performance. Ave Virgo Sanctissima was performed as one of the compulsory pieces for the Tolosa Choral Contest, in which the Vocal Artists were awarded 4 First Prizes as well as the Prize of the Audience. The choir participates each year in about two dozens of concerts, in Portugal and abroad.

As Turkiye's first Barbershop style Vocal ensemble, the qartet became the first Turkish member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The quartet has performed at various prestigious venues including Casa Botter, Akbank Sanat, BKM Mutfak, Pera Museum, Borusan Music House, Santa Maria Draperis Church, St. Pierre and St. Paul's Church. In 2017, they received an invitation from Harmony University - Quartet College in Nashville, USA, and became the first Turkish quartet to attend this annual Barbershop convention and performed to international audience. Barbershop Istanbul was greatly appreciated by the audience in Nashville, the birthplace of the genre, as well as in Turkiye.
