The Virginia Wesleyan Singers are an open-enrollment ensemble of 30-50 singers from all majors at Virginia Wesleyan College. No audition is required, and singers perform a variety of music in all styles while developing vocal technique and musicianship skills.

It is composed of members coming from The Senior High School and College levels of The University, and in The recent years, it has bagged awards in different inter-school competitions, including The SouThern Luzon Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SLCUAA) Cultural Competition wherein it ranked as The 1st Runner-Up in 2017 and 2018, and The 2nd Runner-Up in 2019. We are based in Chicago's western suburbs. ECU performs two major concerts each season with full professional orchestra musicians and pro soloists, and also a mini-concert of our singers in solos and duets with piano. We often appear as featured guest artists with Elmhurst Symphony and in local appearances. Our outstanding volunteer singers come from throughout The Chicago area for a unique musical experience. Our conductor James MacDonald has directed Choirs and orchestras throughout The U.S. and overseas, and teaches conducting and music Theory.
