Concerts by the group feature a cappella music of Scandinavia and the Baltics, as well as North-American composers. Music by composers such as Mäntyjärvi, Daniel-Lesur, Rautavaara, Martin and Pärt are ideal showcases for the choir’s lush and full sound. Members of the group are dedicated to excellence in rehearsing and performing. With a repertoire consisting of 8 to 16-part music, the twenty singers are mostly performing as soloists. Now in its fifth season, voces boreales has already performed in a number of prestigious concert series, such as the National Arts Centre eXpres- sion series, Musique Chez Nous at Bishop's University, Mondial Choral Laval and the Montreal International Bach-Academy. The ensemble voces boreales is produced by the Montreal Choral Institute and appears in its various educational events, such as the Montreal Choral Masterclass.  less

Each composer set verses for his or her own star sign. Leo was premiered by The Esoterics on December 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2002, in concerts in Tacoma, Mercer Island and Seattle, Washington. The piece was named as a Finalist in 2007 Cincinnati Camerata Composition Competition, and is a Project Encore selection. The limit of the chorister is maximum 35-37 per choir (including the conductor and the choir’s leader). The program of the choir ensemble must be on the category of CLASSICAL, pop, ROCK, JAZZ, or FOLK music. The choice of program it’s free without limit of the instruments that may accompany the choir ensemble. The duration of performance shall not exceed 20 minutes per performance. The choir ensembles may have tree performances during the Festival. The following application documents must be provided by the closing date June, 01.Accommodation shall be organized from the organizers in student hostels in Skopje. The participants shall be placed in rooms with 2 or 3 beds, breakfast is included. The accommodation for the participants is free  less
