That Choir was formed in the spring of 2008 by Craig Pike and 14 of his actor friends who wanted to create and share a music experience together. That Choir now brings together over 25 members with diverse backgrounds in work and study, and a mixture of trained and untrained voices. New Canadian artists are important for That Choir to nurture and have already performed new works by J. Scott Brubacher as well as Reza Jacobs in December 2010. Also in December of 2010, That Choir invited Canadian Theatre Artist Nancy Palk to read Dylan Thomas's " A Child's Christmas in Wales" as part of That Choir Carols - an annual celebration of the Holidays. As That Choir looks forward into 2011, it is becoming well known for its a cappella repertoire of many styles and periods with a strong focus on storytelling.  less

Following on from the formation of a Birralee Tenth Anniversary Alumni Choir in 2005, Resonance of Birralee was formed under the leadership of Paul Holley. The young people involved represent a variety of professions and a significant number are tertiary students. They share a common love of singing and in many cases are accomplished musicians. One of their strengths as an ensemble is their expertise and appreciation of a broad range of music styles and their ability to adapt their programme to suit any event. In 2008 Resonance competed at the World Choir Games in Graz, Austria, where they won Gold and Silver medals in popular vocal and gospel categories. At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus Society and subs...  moreOn February 11th 1962, few ITB students established Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB or ITB Student Choir) which was the first university-based choir in Indonesia. At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus Society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national choir competitions and repeatedly won the first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of the most established choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, the choir has been given the chance to perform in events attended by the President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with other choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized the 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since then the festival is held biannually and becomes the largest national choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants.
