It is open to all no matter what musical background, if any you may have. We "sing for the the sheer joy of it" and do local concerts. Recently we have sung at a large church inter-denominational christmas gathering and the highlight of the year to sing at a wedding at the request of the Bride and Groom.

The TCC is made up of youth and adults from the Trumansburg Community. We welcome new members and are looking to grow the chorus. There is no audition to join our ranks, however, a basic knowledge of choral singing and music is helpful.

Despite of the apparent differences, they are strong in musical passion and bonds, which is the essential spirit of Sabahan camaraderie. In 2015, they received further recognition as achievers of Level 5 Singing Ensemble with Distinction under the same international examination board. Recently, in June 2016, they completed their advanced Level 6 Singing Ensemble examination with an exceptional praise from the Senior Adjudicator of the Australian GUILD of Music Education.
