Nel 2008 Gabriella lascia il Coro e viene sostituita brevemente dal M° Benedetto Fiori e, in seguito, da Marta De Colle. Attualmente il direttore è Gino V. Ruoso con cui il Coro mantiene il carattere popolare e di montagna, con ampliamento a brani di autori contemporanei.  less

This smallest and most select of the Hofstra Choirs comprises the best singers at the University, both within and outside the Department of Music, and focuses on the distinct art of unaccompanied, or a cappella, ensemble singing, presented in carefully chosen performance spaces that are uniquely attuned to celebrate the human voice's potential. From an educational standpoint, the ensemble serves two main functions for the University. First, it acts as a laboratory for Hofstra’s future music educators, both undergraduate and graduate, providing outlets for the exploration of the art of ensemble preparation through the study of the highest-quality choral literature.
