Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutt... moreAmicantus choir is a group of good friends and very talented musicians based in Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire under the leadership of one of the Midlands leading Musical Directors, Miss Maddy Evans. Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutter to Take That and Snow Patrol with a good dose of musicals and Disney thrown in for good measure.
The seeds of the choir were first planted back in mid-2012 when Maddy was asked to set up a choir to perform a small concert at her local church near to Stratford Upon Avon. The choir are all good friends and met in a variety of ways from other choirs, bands and performing arts groups.
Since their first concert, they have grown to become one of the best and most revered choirs in the Midlands and have performed at countless venues from the Birmingham German Christmas Markets to Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations in Stratford Upon Avon to their very first concert in Warwick in June 2013.
