Celestin Translation: Three drums Are having an argument A great Sunday morning On their way back from Guinea A little Kata . . . A little Tanbouren . . . A big Boula . . . Boula declared That he can hit the loudest Boula declared "I can hit the loudest!" Tanbouren said "I have the most beautiful sound" He said "when I perform, keep quiet and listen!" Kata who was hearing all this became angry He could not comprehend how two soldiers Who are dressed with the same outfit And are children of the same mother Are sitting around making a scandal One fine Mardi-Gras day, Kata started to "zouk" Every single person there began to dance . . . In Flanders Fields by John McCrae In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. photos courtesy of FreeFoto http://www.freefoto.com/index.jsp  less

Since 2009 and thanks to his founder, Oscar Allen, the Choral Project has been working with young Singers and developing young voices to excell in the interpretation and enjoyment of choral music and group singing. Due to an intensive and hard work, its members receive a full choral and scenic education, structured in the vocal individual technique and its different types of sound emission; on the development of corporal skills expression, and in the grupal practice of the choral exercise. This education is complemented by the permanent contact with other artistic disciplines as ballet and theatre are. Even though the repertoire performed is diverse and heterogeneous, its preferences are focused on the amazing generation of current Spanish composers and the beautiful treatment given by them to the voice. It is formed by girls and boys between 6 and 28 years old, most of them current or past students at th...    less

The Choir is the oldest College Choir in Ghana and arguably in West Africa; established in 1964. The Choir is inspired by the mission of singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs as an act of worship to the glory of God and to minister to the souls of men. Over the years, the Choir is been noted for very inspiring and sensational concerts and oratorios that seek to fulfill the mission above. Very recent of such ministrations include; Israel in Egypt (2008 and 2010), Indulci Jubilo(2015), Handel's Chandos Anthems (2016), Singspiration (2017),and Laudate Deo (2018). The Choir has through these platforms touched the lives of many deprived entities through her social welfare responsibilities. We can't say it all and ignore the wonderful personalities the Choir has nurtured over the years. These persons are making considerable strides in the Choral enclave in Ghana and the World at lar...    less
