We are a ladies' a cappella chorus who sing in barbershop style. We are based in Aberdeenshire, in north-east Scotland. As well as Scottish favourites, our repertoire includes traditional barbershop as well as recent pop and rock tunes.

We formed as Manx Girls Choir in 1952. MGC travelled widely in Europe and had a high standard. In 2003, we changed our name to Manx Voices. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!

Quorum Singers of St Albans has been singing for over 25 years, and perform around 3 times a year in St Albans or locally in Hertfordshire. We rehearse once a week on Wednesdays, throughout the term time, and can often be found performing in Christopher Place around Christmas time!  less

The group aims to expose the audience to the magic of this genre, which is almost completely forgotten. The Hazelnuts' concert combines original songs - preserving the musical spirit of the genre and poured into a contemporary feminine point of view, and in addition - stylistic adaptations of cotemporary songs and authentic pieces from the thirties.
