EFC is a choir of around 75 singers, attracting People from all parts of the South West region. We perform with professional orchestras and soloists, and aim to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Under the inspired and dynamic musical direction of Nigel Perrin, EFC has become one of the region’s most versatile and highly acclaimed choral groups. We provide a broad range of music for our audiences, covering a great variety of genres and periods; We revisit standard works within the choral repertoire and explore new challenges from the contemporary musical scene. We like to be stretched musically and technically and, above all, We strive to set ourselves high standards  Arent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getPArent().style.display='none';">less

The East Parade Malayalam Choir is recognized as one of the best church choirs in the Garden city and has been invited to perform in various concerts organised by other churches, institutions and groups. We thank God Almighty for His abundant grace, blessings and guidance all through these years of our existence. We have a great musical director, immensely skilled and fun to sing for. Every rehearsal gives us something to discover about the music of all kinds of different styles, how to sing, communication with the audience , keeping time, tuning, rhythm etc. The choir works with musically trained People and singers entirely new to singing; some read music and some not. We give great concerts, sometimes of classics such as Elijah (Nov 2012), madrigals, anthems, and lighter music such as the delightful Noah and his Floating Zoo. Like all choirs hoWever We need more singers to keep the choir progressing. We Are therefore expanding the ways We reach out to People who might like to give singing a try, or who would like to return to singing after a break, perhaps to have a family or because of a house move. Everyone is Welcome (tenors Are especially celebrated!!) You will now find the choir has a Facebook page (www.facebook.com/wombournechoral)on which...    Arent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getPArent().style.display='none';">less
