Yet our passion of singing joins us every week to rehears interesting and rarely performed music. With passion and great ambition, music and literature from all over The world comes sensually alive. The focus of our music is located in The Baltic region. Of course! Our cherished and beloved conductor Arūnas Pečiulis is from Lithuania.
In 2016 we released our first own CD "Christmas in Orange" with traditional and extraordinary Christmas songs from all over The world. We are also represented with a total of three pieces on The CDs „Salzburg singt 2 - Advent" and „Salzburg singt 3 - Adventkalender" of The Salzburg Choir Association.
In 2017 we made our first big trip abroad to Lithuania and Latvia, in 2018 we were one of only two „non-Lithuanian“ choirs to take part in The Lithuanian song festival „Dainų šventė“ in Vilnius.

TRANSLATION
Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace: according to thy word.
For mine eyes have seen: thy salvation,
Which thou hast prepared: before The face of all people;
To be a light to lighten The Gentiles: and to be The glory of thy people Israel.
Glory be to The FaTher, and to The Son: and to The Holy Ghost;
As it was in The beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.
The Book of Common Prayer, 1662
ORIGINAL TEXT
Nunc dimittis servum tuum, Domine, secundum verbum tuum in pace:
Quia viderunt oculi mei salutare tuum
Amen. less

Ola Gjeilo’s Dark and Luminous Night portrays The passage of The soul from mortality to its union
with God. Based on The 16th century poem by a major figure of The Counter-Reformation, St. John
of The Cross, The piece depicts a soul leaving its “still house” and venturing into The night. Seemingly fearless, The soul is guided out of The darkness by The light of love; Luminous Night reveals The soul’s fulfillment.
Lyrics: St. John of The Cross

fired with love’s urgent longings
– ah, The sheer grace! –
I went out unseen,
my house being now all stilled.
In darkness, and secure,
