The Seagrave Singers are an award winning all-female Choir. It is our aim to bring enjoyment to others and ourselves by delivering a high quality performance. We present our own concerts bi-annually and organise concerts to assist with fundraising.

This is a Choir for mission through praising. Pilgrim Mission Choir gives regular concert once a year with ever new and differentiated church music leading the circle of choral music as a pioneer. The Choir is also recognized with its performance. It manages concerts more than 10 times a year like rush of invitation, local tour and church tour concert. Focusing on church music, repertoires of the Choir cross over every age like renaissance, motet, baroque and classic, and every genre like spirituals, gospel and modern music. The singing of the Choir is always enough to excite the audience. PMC, at the 2002 2nd Busan International Choir Olympic, won the champion with dignity in the 'Musica sacra a cappella' almost dominated by European choral music. Factum Arte Choir was formed in 2009, mostly by students trained in the Kodaly method of music instruction taught by her musical director and professor Katalin Hajnoczy, degree in music education, direction and piano by the Music Academy Ferenz Liszt (Hun...  moreFactum Arte Choir was formed in 2009, mostly by students trained in the Kodaly method of music instruction taught by her musical director and professor Katalin Hajnoczy, degree in music education, direction and piano by the Music Academy Ferenz Liszt (Hungary), and with a long career devoted to education in various places and educational institutions of Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa. Very high unpretentious music, the Choir was created to provide coverage to the need to sing and further training of a group of friends singing around the figure of his teacher. The time spent on the trials is very low in comparison to a standard chorus but over the years has drawn new members, has taken on challenges in terms of repertoire, has been federated, offers concerts by the municipalities of Biscay, and share their work in exchanges with other Choirs in and out of Euskadi. Since the beginning of his career have enjoyed the cooperation of Garbiñe Abendaño as a teacher of vocal technique.  less

It’s been beautifully arra...  moreThis is the story of a woman feeling old and weary and dreaming of the past she had, wondering where those good years have gone. Here, our lovely singers have made it into a conversation – a shared experienced between the women. It’s been beautifully arranged by Moira Smiley and Vida, but was written by John Prine, a Chicago folk musician. There are two new singers in this ensemble: Rosi, a deep dark bass, standing back left, and Marie, sitting at the front right with the cowboy hat on. Both singers have been a wonderful addition to our Choir. Adele in the rocking chair, Annabelle standing right, and Katherine with baby Erin (who LOVES harmony!) complete the group, all of which you have seen many times in concert! We love the song and hope you do too. With this song, we are raising money for a charity close to our hearts, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton.
