In 2017, They received an invitation from Harmony University - Quartet College in Nashville, USA, and became The first Turkish quartet to attend this annual Barbershop convention and performed to international audience. That Choir was formed in The spring of 2008 by Craig Pike and 14 of his actor friends who wanted to create and share a music experience togeTher. That Choir now brings togeTher over 25 members with diverse backgrounds in work and study, and a mixture of trained and untrained voices. New Canadian artists are important for That Choir to nurture and have already performed new works by J. Scott Brubacher as well as Reza Jacobs in December 2010. Also in December of 2010, That Choir invited Canadian Theatre Artist Nancy Palk to read Dylan Thomas's " A Child's Christmas in Wales" as part of That Choir Carols - an annual celebration of The Holidays. As That Choir looks forward into 2011, it is becoming well known for its a cappella repertoire of many styles and periods with a strong focus on storytelling.  less

The young people involved represent a variety of professions and a significant number are tertiary students. They share a common love of singing and in many cases are accomplished musicians. One of Their strengths as an ensemble is Their expertise and appreciation of a broad range of music styles and Their ability to adapt Their programme to suit any event.
