Every one of them have learned and recorded ind...  moreThe Junior High Students of the Colegio Sembradores de Amistad in San Luis Potosí, Mexico show us That music is an universal language That brings us together, defeating every obstacle like time and space. Every one of them have learned and recorded individually a part of an original song (Vuela Alto = Fly High). When brought together, this parts sums to a wonderful show of talent and music. This project was made for the graduation prom by students aged between 13 and 15 years old. They show us That the only thing That matters to achieve anything is take the risk and surrender to your dreams. More than a third of them have never sung to an audience before (including Linda, the soloist). The music brings us together, it allows us to raise our voice to the universe and with it "Ni la distancia podrá separarnos" (Not even the distance can take us apart).  less

The choir consists of participants in workshop weeks, which are offered twice a year in different European countries. Overtone singing is a new vocal technique That allows for singing two tones simultaneously. EOC sings compositions with written overtones as well as choir improvisations and contemporary music. The effect of controlled overtones on the timbre of classical choir compositions is explored with special ear training.

This 65 to 70 member, mixed-voice ensemble sings for services in Christ Chapel, for Christmas in Christ Chapel, an annual spring tour, and at special College events. Major city tour destinations have included San Antonio, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Lincoln, and Omaha. Membership is by audition. Conducted by Bradon Dean.

We preform choral music, ethnic music and modern songs emphasis on Slovenian authors. We preform a lot across Slovenia on solo tours or we prefrom on different cultural events. For four years in a row, we organize Festival oktetov Kranj (Festival of small vocal groups). We also preformed successfully abroad in Perast, Montenegro and Praga.

Mandskoret of 1914 are a group of adult, personable men who like to sing, from the experienced to the new singers. Mandskoret av 1914 Mandskoret er en usedvanlig sprek 100 åring, og er Haugesund eldste mannskor. I Mandskoret av 1914 er vi en gjeng med voksne, omgjengelige menn som liker å synge – fra de rutinerte, til helt nye sangere. 
 Mannskor mer enn bare sang Det handler om opplevelser knyttet til deltakelse, måten vi tar vare på hverandre og den spesielle sosiale aktiviteten. Mannskor favner mer om kvaliteten i musikkaktiviteten, enn kanskje den musikalske kvaliteten. Mannskor er også en viktig bærer av solide tradisjoner i vårt samfunn. We are directed by the dynamic Scott Inglis-Kidger, a music graduate from Cambridge University and previously a countertenor in the renowned King’s College Choir. Scott selects a fabulous range of music for us to work on and we are incredibly lucky to be supported by a professional orchestra and top professional soloists. All of this, combined with the commitment and enthusiasm of our members, makes for performances which are thrilling for the audience and exhilerating for the singers. We still retain a sense of joy of singing and of friendship and celebrate all our concerts with parties at our local Battersea pub. We do not hold auditions so if you would like to come and join us you are very welcome at any time to try a rehearsal or two and then decide if you would like to join.
