This auditioned choir has 150 adult Mixed voices and 300 youth Mixed voices rehearsing weekly to bring various masterworks, original pieces, collaborations and new arrangements to the ears of many. Doug Mears is the Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with the professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full time accompanists and music educators meet the rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional Chorus. FCS is honored to work with renown musicians, conductors and orchestras to present the finest choral programs available. Sometimes we join other Choruses to produce even larger musical works. Dainius DRUSKIS is the artistic director of the choir since 2014 when he took the lead of choir from professor Albinas Petrauskas, who guided the choir since its first rehersal for 42 years. Each musical season of „LELIUMAI“ is designated to performances of choir music to the listeners in cities and towns in Lithuania, extraordinary festivals and meetings with the choirs abroad, unforgetable participation in Lithuanian Song festivals. During its history „LELIUMAI“ has been awarded the highest titles in national choir competitions in Lithuania, has won the third prize at the international choir competition in Ireland (Cork) in 1983. Choir performances are rich with pieces of various styles, special part of the repertoir is assigned to the contemporary Lithuanian music.
