Our choristers' talents and musicality are nurtured, their voices are trained, they are taught correct diction and musical expression. We aid harmonious growth - in terms of both musical and personal development of our vocalists. Alla Polacca Children and Youth Choir is affiliated with the Teatr Wielki/Grand Theatre - Polish National Opera in Warsaw. The choir consists of 200 choristers performing in four age groups. The choir was founded three decades ago by Sabina Wlodarska, a recognized music educator and student of maestro Stefan Stuligrosz. In 2014, Anna Bednarska took over from Sabina Wlodarska as Alla Polacca's conductor and artistic director. The joins are barely noticeable! The Hubbard Saga was written specially for Sale Festival 2001 and follows the antique antics of the fabulous dog of Old Mother Hubbard. The children's chorus echoes the barking of the dog whilst the adult choir takes us through the story. Then the children -- one by one tell us the story behind the poem itself. It's the group's vision to inspire a life-long love for good music and church leadership in the young singers through the pursuit and enjoyment of musical and other artistic excellence. Children from ages 6 to 18 residing in Accra with consent from guardians are given the opportunity to join through auditioning. Its membership currently stands at 65. The choir sings during communion and lead congregational singing during Sunday School anniversary.
