We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. Join us for fun and laughter every week, plus great gigs, inspirational songs and memorable experiences! Our repertoire consists of a broad variety of soul, gospel, R&B, pop and contemporary commissions. Η επιλογή των μελών της Χορωδίας γίνεται ύστερα από ακροάσεις και οι χορωδοί της εκπαιδεύονται, αφενός στην ανάγνωση και ερμηνεία μουσικών έργων και αφετέρου στην φωνητική διαπαιδαγώγηση. Στόχος της Χορωδίας του ΣΦΜΘ είναι η πραγματοποίηση συναυλιών, τόσο σε συνεργασία με το Μέγαρο Μουσικής, όσο και με άλλους πολιτιστικούς φορείς στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό (σε εκδηλώσεις όπως κοντσέρτα, όπερα, χορωδιακά φεστιβάλ). The choir's mission is to nurture Bulgarian talent and instill a love for choral art among young individuals aged 16 to 35. It honors Bulgaria's choral traditions while occasionally embracing contemporary trends in choral performance, employing techniques like body percussion and mise-en-scène to enhance their vocal craft. Founded as Pastoral - female chamber choir in 1987, nowadays the ensemble carries the name of its originator Irina Stiglich.
