We have about 25 members currently, but we are gaining new members each year. We put on two "shows" each year to raise funds that benefit The chorus as a whole. We also perform throughout The year at various venues - retirement communities, nursing homes, churches, banquets, and oTher events.

The fabulous amazing spectacular Carol Stenson is Their long standing director. South Salem took FIRST Place at Oregon's State Competition. This was Their second song of four. This whole competition took Place at George Fox University in Newburg Oregon. The South Salem Saxons also took first at Their Districts festival in Salem/Keizer Oregon. Mission We pursue to sing soul inspiring music with religious and patriotic songs as a way of sensitizing The power of gospel music on nature to our various friends and love ones. Biography The Celestial City Choir was initiated by two music students at University of Education, Winneba in 2010. It's formation or foundation began in early January 2011. The members who contributed to The founding were all members from Bantama Seventh-Day Adventist Church about 8 members. Later more hands were called in and official inauguration was done on June 4th 2011.  less
